Anton visited Japan for the first time in 2017. Not as a tourist, but as someone who wanted to know where great matcha truly comes from. He found Wazuka, the fields, the farmers — and brought back something money can't buy: trust.
Ünalp and Anton have known each other since school. When the idea grew bigger, it was clear who belonged.
In 2025, we both travelled. Wazuka, Yame, Kagoshima. New regions, new faces, new partnerships. The next trips are already being planned. Japan has more to offer, and we have much more ahead.

Since 2017, we have been sourcing directly. No middlemen, no compromises. We travel to Japan to ensure that quality is not a matter of luck, but a matter of relationship.
